Ice Fishing is a money wheel, not a slot. There are no reels and no paylines, which is the first thing to unlearn if your casino filed it beside the slots.
Unlike a slot it does not publish one return figure. It publishes five, one per bet, and the gap between the highest and the lowest is 1.93 percentage points — two thirds again on top of the cheapest bet in the game. Choosing between them is the only decision this game asks of you, and it is a real one.

Bonus bets large enough for a maximum result to breach the 500,000 single-round cap are published at a reduced 94.55%.
Forty-six of 53 segments are leaf, so the wheel resolves without a bonus round 86.79% of the time. The seven fish segments carry the entire top of the paytable and also the lowest published returns. That pairing is not a coincidence: the house charges for access to large multipliers by paying back slightly less on the routes that reach them. Hit rate per segment.

After betting closes the RNG boosts random segments. You can see them but can no longer act on them.
One of 53 segments wins. A leaf result settles immediately.
A fish result moves play to the ice hole, but only for players holding that exact route.
