Bonus bets large enough for a maximum result to breach the 500,000 single-round cap are published at a reduced 94.55%.

House edge, in money

House edge is RTP subtracted from 100%, and it is the more useful of the two because it multiplies cleanly against turnover. Put 100 through Leaf bets and the long-run cost is 2.90; the same 100 through Huge Reds is 4.83.

The figure that matters is turnover, not the deposit. A 50 balance recycled twenty times is 1,000 across the table, and the edge works on the thousand.

The 94.55% case

Evolution caps a single round at 500,000 in table currency. On small stakes the cap is invisible. On large bonus bets it truncates the top of the payout distribution, and the published theoretical return for those bets falls to 94.55%.

Practically: betting near the table maximum on Huge Reds means playing against a lower return than the info screen shows for smaller stakes, because the cap removes exactly the outcomes that make the bet worth its price. More on the cap.

RTP questions

What is the highest RTP in Ice Fishing?

97.10%, on Leaf 1 and Leaf 2 — higher than the best bet in Crazy Time at 96.08%.

Why does each bet have a different RTP?

Each route is priced separately. Bonus routes sell access to large multipliers and the house charges for that by returning slightly less over the long run.

What is the 94.55% figure?

A reduced return applied to bonus bets large enough that a maximum result would breach the 500,000 round cap. When the cap can bite, the theoretical return falls with it.

Does a higher RTP mean I will win?

No. Every route has a negative expectation. Higher RTP means losing more slowly, which buys playing time rather than profit.
